Senior Consultant – Taxation Services

Our client is a high performing organisation specialising in a variety of professional services including audit, tax, and advisory. With their exponential growth, they are excited to bring a Senior Consultant – Taxation Services that can provide great value and expert advice for a portfolio of high-profile clients.

The Senior Consultant will be a trusted advisor in a range of accounting, taxation, and business subjects. Working within a dynamic and collaborative team, this role is perfect for someone who wants to continue working or transition to a tax specialist role.

You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse client portfolio with clients ranging from some of the largest private groups in Australia to small-cap ASX listed companies.

• Consulting to various Divisions of the practice re taxation issues e.g. client re-structures, tax planning assistance, tax strategies, etc.
• Drafting of technical advice on income tax and capital gains tax issues
• Researching tax issues as well as developing materials to be presented internally and externally
• Ensure completion of statutory compliance work, which may include:
  • Completion and review of all financial statements
  • Completion and review of income tax returns
  • Completion of Activity Statements
  • Completion of FBT returns
• Review any final work allocated to the accountants and graduates as required

• CA / CPA Qualified – minimum 3 years in a similar role
• Tertiary qualified in commerce, accounting or equivalent
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment
• Be highly committed and have a strong work ethic
• Exceptional attention to detail and building strong relationships
• Demonstrated experience in software such as: Xero, MYOB, Quickbooks, Excel, MS Office
