Remuneration and Benefits Manager

The Remuneration and Benefits Manager supports the attraction and retention of top talent and a great employee experience by identifying and negotiating remuneration and benefits packages that reflect the value of employees.

The Remuneration and Benefits manager will research and understand the market value of employees and designs a suite of remuneration and benefits programs and options that can be utilised to individualise contracts.

The Successful Individual

Ideally with a background in a similar role, this individual will have a solid understanding of payroll and benefits fundamentals and at least 3 years’ experience in the same, or similar capacity. This position is a fantastic combination of HR and Payroll for the improvement of the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage remuneration programs and cyclical activities such as the annual remuneration review, market matching/pricing, superannuation offering, salary sacrificing etc
  • Provide advice to business units and HR teams regarding remuneration practices and respond to requests for ad hoc remuneration solutions
  • Assist in the governance of the remuneration framework including the preparation of remuneration program proposals and policies
  • Monitor remuneration trends and review market data to benchmark practices and programs
  • Develop and manage the employee benefit program and annual calendar of events
  • Aid payroll to ensure the accurate and timely processing of any remuneration and benefit plans
  • Connect and integrate performance processes and employee bonus programs
  • Provide input and expertise into contract negotiations to attract and retain top talent
