Records Archiving Specialist

Our client based in the Adelaide CBD is seeking a Records Archiving Specialist to join their team to contribute to the effective management of information and records at a departmental level.

This role will commence ASAP on an initial 6 month contract.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise on the archiving and disposal of records and arrange secure storage of non-current records
  • Assist in the development and ongoing review of record disposal schedules
  • Contribute to efficiency of record digitisation and records management practices
  • Ensure implementation of policies and standard practices
  • Ensure effective controls of information and records management for internal delegation and auditing
Skills and Experience
  • Archiving knowledge and understanding of relevant quality and risk management requirements
  • Strong experience with records and information management systems
  • Demonstrated experience in providing detailed advice on archiving, sentencing and records management
  • Experience in analysing and developing solutions to records management issues
  • Work both collaboratively within a team and autonomously
Key Requirements
  • MUST have a valid current National Police Clearance
