Quality Control Officer

Careerlink People Solutions are seeking passionate and energetic individuals for a number of temporary Quality Control Officer roles based on the Adelaide CBD outskirts.

You will join a large, established team in a fast-growing organisation, and will be required to hit the ground running.

The Role

Based close to Adelaide CBD, we have a number of roles available for experienced Quality Control Officer who are looking to be at the forefront of modern QC concepts and processes.

These roles being offered are temporary full-time positions and require someone who is flexible and available to work across day, afternoon and night shifts with potential overtime across weekends.

We are seeking a process oriented, people person who has excellent attention to detail and is able to work under minimal supervision. You must have the ability to respond quickly and professionally to new and changing situations. You will also have a demonstrated skill in taking initiative, prioritising and multi-tasking in a fast-moving environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct In-production and postproduction inspections
  • Ensure all products released from production meet quality parameters
  • Assist with the improvement and development of the Quality Management Systems to comply with current customer requirements and regulatory standards
  • Preparing reports following audits and inspections
  • Provide clear coaching and feedback
  • Conduct internal audit inspections
  • Driving the implementation of action points from external audit to focus on continuous improvement
  • Focus on investigating customer complaints and implement appropriate corrective actions with the aim of zero complaints
  • Manage and maintain site documents to meet requirements as per agreed QMS system
Skills and Experience
  • Previous experience undertaking a Quality Assurance or Quality Control role in a manufacturing or processing environment
  • Work cross functionally to achieve company objectives
  • Excellent IT skills, with a working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Adobe
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
