Our client is a not for profit, member-based association that is principally self-funded. Positioned in the western suburbs, they are looking to bring on an experienced full-time and permanent Project Officer.
Their aim is to build a team of professionals that allow them to expand and broaden their range of services to people with chronic diseases.
The Project Officer will be responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of a workplace program across a range of workplaces.
The workplace program is used to boost benefits of the workplace through physical, psychological, and social health that contributes to the prevention of lifestyle related chronic disease.
The Project Officer will provide recommendations to meet operational objectives and KPIs within a budget framework that aligns with established directives.
A Bachelor’s Degree qualification in Health, Organisational Development, or a similarly associated discipline
Experience in an equivalent workplace development role is essential, preferably with a focus in the evaluation of chronic disease programs and services (e.g. Heart disease, Diabetes, and Cancer)
Demonstrated project management skills in the development of workplace programs, using evidence- based best practice principles
Proven experience and success in developing and implementing programs, adhering to a set budget, marketing and promotional strategies, and evaluation and reporting mechanisms
Outstanding interpersonal skills, with the capability to relate to a range of internal and external stakeholders
An ability to collect and analyse data to ascertain any variations or patterns as need for the project
Proficiency in Microsoft packages with sound typing skills and a high level of accuracy
Current SA Driver’s License
