Payroll / Administration Assistant

Careerlink are seeking exceptional professionals within the Finance and Administration sphere to undertake temporary and permanent roles based within the Adelaide CBD.

The Role

We are seeking self motivated and energetic individuals with the ability to work under minimal supervision. You must have the ability to respond quickly and professionally to new and changing situations. You will also have a demonstrated skill in taking initiative, prioritising and multi-tasking in a fast-moving environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assisting with the processing, recording and follow up of all customer enquiries
  • Undertake a variety of administration tasks
  • Maintain records and information within established procedures
  • Displaying accuracy always even when conducting routine/repetitive work
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders when required
  • Respond to general enquiries when required
  • Electronic filing of letters and other documents
  • Assistance with database maintenance
  • Other administration duties as assigned from time to time
Skills and Experience
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • High attention to detail, with impeccable organisational and time management skills
  • Proven track record of reliability
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communications skills with the ability to liaise with internal staff and external clients
  • Demonstrated experience with accounting software. e.g. Xero, CHRIS21 and MYOB, desirable not essential
  • General computer skills including MS Word, Excel & Outlook
  • General clerical and administration skills
Key Requirements
  • MUST be ready and willing to obtain relevant clearances. E.g. National Police Clearance and/or Relevant DSCI Clearance
  • Available to work Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm
