Outbound Contact Centre Team Leader

Based in Prospect, north of Adelaide, this family owned, fast growing company are now looking to expand their team further and are looking for their next star to join the organisation.

The Role

The Team Leader is a newly formed, key leadership role within this growing organisation. You will be managing a team of six outbound sales agents, providing day to day leadership and performance management, ensuring activity levels and KPIs are being achieved, as well as leading by example with your own sales targets.

This is initially being offered on a 6-month temporary role with the potential to become permanent.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide coaching and in the moment feedback; providing guidance and the tools needed for your team to exceed as individuals and collectively
  • Provide support to the team on escalation/hard to close calls
  • Meet individual sales targets, leading by example on phone calls
  • Encompass company values through team leader direction
  • Create and manage a healthy sales pipeline
  • Attend network events as required
  • Potential interstate travel
Skills and Experience
  • Previous Team Leader experience working in a call centre/sales environment (ideally 2 years)
  • A demonstrated track record of leading, mentoring and developing teams
  • Previous experience working in an outbound call centre or sales environment
  • A positive approach to managing team performance and engaging with individuals to achieve consistently positive outcomes
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to confidently lead people to achieve greatness
  • Excellent communication skills is essential, with the ability to quickly build rapport
  • A high level of resilience and assertiveness whilst maintaining excellent customer service is key
  • Hungry for success with a determined personality
