Lending Support Officer

Careerlink People Solutions have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Lending Support Officer based within Adelaide CBD, working on a fixed term contract, and requiring an immediate start.

The Role

Based in the heart of Adelaide CBD, this role will report directly to the Support Manager and will provide administrative support to the network across multiple channels.

You will have a varying case load, managing the full end to end verification process, resolving any issues or questions that may occur along the way.

This role is being offered initially on a fixed term contract, working full-time hours Monday to Friday with the occasional need to work outside of these hours.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process loans across multiple products, ensuring processes and policies are adhered to at all stages
  • Manage the full end to end process for approvals ensuring any issues that occur are resolved in a timely manner
  • Engage with internal staff, 3rd party vendors and clients to gather and meet the verification requirements
  • Provide timely and professional administrative support
Skills and Experience
  • An in-depth understanding of lending practises and processes for a range of products
  • Previous experience working in similar positions in the retail banking, mortgage broker or financial service industry
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
  • An enthusiastic, conscientious, and flexible approach to work
  • Ability to build a strong understanding of the credit policies and procedures
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Excellent computer and IT skills, with a working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Adobe
  • An ability to manage multiple tasks with confidence whilst working towards competing deadlines
  • Accreditation under NCCC, AML, FSRA would be preferred
