HR Consultant

Careerlink are seeking experienced and motivated HR Consultants for several temporary roles based within Adelaide CBD and surrounding suburbs.

The Role

With roles based across several busy, high profile State Government departments, we are looking for individuals preferably with Government experience, who are competent working with multiple stakeholders, in busy and changing environments. You will be results driven, resilient, resourceful, proactive, and flexible, with the ability to quickly pick-up new processes and systems.

Assisting employees and contractors with high quality support, you will provide a range of administrative services and recruitment support at varying points of the process.  

You will quickly be able to establish and maintain strong working relationships with contractors and employees, and business leaders, supporting their needs as required.

These roles require someone who is flexible and can commit to working 5 days per week (Monday to Friday), for varying length temporary assignments, with the possibility for further extension depending on business requirements.

Skills and Experience
  • A minimum 2 years’ experience managing successful end-to-end recruitment processes in a volume environment preferably in a Government environment
  • Exceptional customer service and candidate management skills
  • Confident working with systems such as Objective, Basware and ANZ Expense Manager
  • Excellent understanding of Microsoft systems such as Visio, Excel, Office 365
  • High level verbal and written communication skills
  • A keen eye for detail, excellent organisation skills and excel in a fast past, dynamic environment
  • Must have the ability to liaise with various stakeholders as well as work effectively in an autonomous capacity
  • Hands-on experience with candidate sourcing and evaluation
  • Strong decision-making skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
  • Excellent time management skills and demonstrated ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure with competing priorities and deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Professional manner with the ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Post-secondary qualification in a Human Resource Management or a related field
  • Hold a current SAPOL Police Clearance and DHS General Employment Probity Check  
  • Be immediately available to commence with no short-term leave requirements
