Finance Officer

Our client based in the Adelaide CBD is seeking a Finance Officer to join their team to provide comprehensive financial and accounting services to the organisation.

This role will commence immediately on an initial 4 month contract.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide detailed monitoring and reporting of the organisation’s budget
  • Advise staff on financial and procurement procedures
  • Support corporate systems including Basware, ANZ EMS, PARS
  • Prepare compliance reports
  • Monitor reconciliations between systems
Skills and Experience
  • Strong knowledge of budget management, financial reporting and maintaining general ledgers
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Previous finance experience in a government or agency role preferred
  • Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Advanced skills with MS Office Suite and finance related systems
  • Solution focused with strong customer service skills 
Key Requirements
  • MUST have a valid current National Police Clearance
