Finance Officer

This is a temporary role based in the Adelaide CBD on an initial contract through 4 October 2024, with possibility of extension.  Responsible for a broad range of financial management services, including reconciliations, journals and assisting with the preparation of financial reports, this role reports to the Manager Financial Accounting within an established SA Government department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the team with financial management services including:
    • Reconciliations
    • Journals
    • Preparation of financial reports
  • Processing a variety of transactions in an accurate and timely manner
  • Ensuring customers’ needs are met at first point of contact
Skills and Experience
  • Experience with Financial reporting and accounting
  • Tertiary Qualification in Accounting or Finance
  • Fixed assets experience
  • Payroll experience
  • Experience with Oracle is desirable
  • Strong numerical reasoning skills
Key Requirements
  • MUST be willing to obtain a valid current National Police Clearance
