Business Improvement Specialist

Our client based in the Adelaide CBD is seeking a Business Improvement Specialist to join their team ASAP on an initial contract through June 2024.

This role will map and manage the process of the organisation’s business improvement through problem solving, project governance and imparting business improvement knowledge.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead problem solving sessions as improvement practitioner to support process improvement requirements as they arise 
  • Identify and quantify improvement initiative benefits and ensure delivery of soft/quantifiable savings
  • Work closely with business improvement participants and facilitate training sessions when required
  • Source relevant data to enable ongoing reporting on progress towards benefits realisation
  • Deliver status updates to stakeholders and identify ineffective process across business
  • Undertake end-to-end process discovery and process workshopping and analysis
  • Create, maintain update and communicate project plans and track each project through completion
Skills and Experience
  • 5 years experience in business process mapping
  • Experience working on ARIS/Signavio enterprise architecture platform
  • Designing and delivering specific documentation and learning modules using ARIS
  • Experience in preparing process governance structure
  • Ability to conduct business process training and current state workshops
  • Ability to assist with current state process mapping and convert existing maps to BPMN standard
  • Experience creating BPM operating model and setting up business process management office
  • Excellent stakeholder management and presentation
Key Requirements
  • MUST have a valid current National Police Clearance
