Business Development Manager

Due to significant growth our client is a looking for a Business Development Manager to lead a team of sales professionals to increase new business across the network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop growth strategies and plans
  • Manage and retain relationships with existing clients
  • Increase client base and penetrate new markets
  • Have an in-depth knowledge of business products and value proposition
  • Create and present successful business proposals
  • Negotiate with all key stakeholders
  • Identify and map out business strengths and customer needs
  • Research business opportunities and viable income streams
  • Follow industry trends both locally and internationally
  • Draft and review terms of business and service contracts
  • Report on successes and areas needing improvements
  • Mentor, coach and develop a team of Sales Executives
Key Requirements
  • A Bachelor’s degree is Business or other relevant discipline
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • High-level communication
  • Stakeholder management skills
  • Proven ability to negotiate
  • Experience with design and implementation of business development strategy
  • Conflict resolution
  • The ability to self-motivate and motivate a team
  • Experience working to and exceeding targets
