Business Development Manager – NSW 

Careerlink People Solutions have partnered with a market leading Australian manufacturing group to find their next Business Development Manager based in Sydney. Responsible for National Account Management across NSW and QLD, this role will see you collaborating with luxury retailers, fashion brands and major pharmaceutical organisations.

Our client is passionate about their people and are seeking an individual who can maximise commercial outcomes for all accounts as well as grow and successfully develop new business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive maximum commercial outcomes for all existing NSW/QLD retail national accounts
  • Maximise wallet spend for all existing NSW/QLD retail national accounts
  • Lead, manage and drive all clientele and grow margins
  • Increase stock turns to meet Group KPO targets
  • Maximise freight efficiencies
  • Drive Portal transition for all national accounts
  • Target, develop and win new business to exceed budget requirements for the NSW/QLD markets
  • Provide excellent customer service – Maximise QSE
  • Assisting Senior National Accounts Manager with other National Accounts as required
  • Preparing internal reporting and progress reports as requested
Key Requirements
  • Excellent account management and selling skills
  • Retail or pharmaceutical account management experience
  • Strategic thinking and the ability to plan a target approach on the national market
  • Plans effectively and takes accountability for delivering on expectations
  • Strong ability to form strong partnerships with our national customers and across the business
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Solid commercial acumen
