Administration Officer

Careerlink are seeking an immediately available and professional individual for a temporary role based in Adelaide CBD.

Passionate about providing exceptional administrative support, our client is committed to providing ongoing training and support to their staff.

The Role

This role will be based in a flexible space within the office in Adelaide CBD and is working within a busy, vibrant department.

Accountable to the Team Leader, your excellent organisation, planning and administrative skills will be critical in the support of staff, contractors, and management from within the department. With excellent communication skills, you will be responsible for administrative services including, general office, financial, project and human resources administration and reporting.

This is a challenging, fast paced and dynamic role requiring organisation and experience in a similar position working with multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities.  

Key Responsibilities
  • Administration and Support Tasks
  • Processing/Coding Invoices 
  • Assisting with the recruitment of contractors including organising interviews and completing Official documents
  • Completing HR forms and HR recruitment paperwork
  • Maintaining shared databases
  • Updating procedures and work instructions
  • Updating role descriptions
  • Requesting network, hardware request and software requests for new starters
Skills and Experience
  • 2 – 5 years’ Administration experience working in a fast moving, busy team
  • Essential – Strong working knowledge of Outlook
  • Essential – Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Suite and Office 365 (Word, Excel, OneNote etc)
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise accordingly
  • Previous use of Records Management systems
  • Experience using Baseware and Expense Management systems
  • Experience booking and maintaining travel arrangement through a travel portal
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information
  • Proven ability to build working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Eagerness to contribute to a positive team culture
Key Requirements
  • Be immediately available to commence with no short-term leave requirements
  • MUST have a valid current National Police Clearance or willing to obtain prior to commencing
